On 26 September 2025, EPOS – Empresa Portuguesa de Obras Subterrâneas, S.A. participated in the forum “EXPLORING UNDERGROUND SPACES: INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO MODERN CHALLENGES?”, promoted by the Portuguese Commission of Tunnels and Underground Space young members (CPTym).
One of the topics considered essential by the young members of the CPT for the forum was the underground space associated with the mining industry. In this context, our colleague Rui Sustelo delivered a presentation entitled ‘The dynamics of underground mines’, offering a technical and up-to-date perspective on the challenges faced by this sector.
