Last May 2009 EPOS was awarded the construction of part of the Marão tunnel. The contract involves the construction of half of this important road infrastructure, beginning at the East Side Portal. The subcontract includes the excavation and final concrete lining as well as the instrumentation and monitoring of the lenght to be built. Work had begun on the current month of July 2009, with a deadline of 33 months for the construction of the 5 656 m of tunnel included in this subcontract. |
