EPOS ensures that all staff and collaborators are encouraged to achieve higher levels of professional and academic qualifications.
Strategically, this is an area where EPOS invests a large amount of time and resources and believes that it is a major competitive advantage and also of added value to its staff. EPOS promotes many different training activities, focused at all levels of its workforce, and allocates technical and logistical means to promote candidates and applications for Professional Certificates, namely CAP (Certificado de Aptidão Profissional).
This effort has had many positive results in the form of hundreds of applications from different levels of staff and collaborators.
In terms of promoting the completion of secondary education to its staff, EPOS has been a pioneer in the signing of protocols with the so called Centres for New Opportunities (Centros de Novas Oportunidades (CNO)), an innovative governmental initiative that promotes the “return to the classroom” for workers that haven’t completed their high school education yet. This has also been a great success and has had many successful candidates. |
