EPOS actively participates in the extension and modernization of the national road network, both in continental Portugal, as well as in the Região Autónoma da Madeira (Madeira Island), being responsible for an important part of the tunnels built since the 1990’s.
In this area, the company intervenes in several ways, whether only in the excavation and concrete lining phases of the tunnels, or extending its activity to finishing works, including pavement and special installations of lighting, ventilation, fire detection, safety control and integrated operation of the systems installed.
