Como consequência, o investimento público e o privado acumulam elevadas quebras, com reflexo no número e volume de projetos oferecidos a licitação no mercado nacional. Cabe aqui referir a exceção que constituiu a abertura dos importantes concursos para as três empreitadas de conclusão do troço rodoviário da auto-estrada A4, que integra o Túnel do Marão, representando um volume de obras superior a 100 milhões de euros. Perante este cenário adverso, a EPOS reforçou a sua ação técnico-comercial no mercado externo, alargando-a a novos países na América do Sul e no médio oriente, sem descurar a procura de negócios no mercado africano. 35 The enormous effort that Portugal has made in recent years to achieve a structural balance in its accounts continued throughout 2014.
